Winner at UK Energy Innovation Awards

Updated: Mar 4, 2018

Firmly established as a must-attend event for key players in the energy industry, the UK Energy Innovation Awards were back for 2017 by the Energy Innovation Centre (EIC)

Small business innovators with novel technologies are disrupting the energy sector, bringing benefits to customers and accelerating UK energy system transformation.

The event was held at the Titanic Docks in Liverpool and was full of guests from the energy sector and innovation community.

“There were some really interesting entries across the 12 categories in this year’s awards. What is really clear to me is how much of a difference new technology and approaches can make to improving the overall efficiency of our energy system. This is good news for all consumers and I hope to see many of the projects that we are hearing about today making a big impact on the sector.”

Jonathan Brearley, Senior partner, networks from energy industry regulator Ofgem

" It's incredible to be the winner of the UK energy Innovation Awards for Best University Technology. The award means a lot to us and has given us great boost to continue the work we are doing."
